As Senator Padilla shared in his remarks during Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation hearing, more people of color need to enter the “pipeline” to be nominated and confirmed to federal court positions throughout the country. The panel will explore how Latino legal and civil rights organizations can help elevate qualified candidates to be considered and how to inform Latinos about the importance of their vote in making the federal court system reflect the nation’s demographic reality.
