Jackson’s nomination embodies LFJ’s overall goals of advancing equity and justice through a more diverse federal bench of exceptionally qualified judges.

“Senators are already well-acquainted with Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s impeccable legal acumen and judicial temperament — what’s different about these hearings is the rest of the nation will witness the potential impact of having someone with Judge Jackson’s breadth of experience, diverse professional background, and profound dedication to equal justice on the Supreme Court,” said Andrea Nill Sanchez, Executive Director of LFJ. “In light of Judge Jackon’s exceptional record, diverse professional experience, and her demonstrated commitment to fairness for all, LFJ stands in support of her historic nomination and we urge Senators to do the same.”
